Tank work is a regular call out here: new ponds dug, old ones cleaned out and reshaped after years of silting in. Pads for barns, shops and houses. If you need a driveway, that has its own page under driveway construction.
Why the ground matters
Central Texas ground is not forgiving. Thin soil over limestone west of here, heavy clay that moves with the season east and south. The same cut behaves differently depending on which side of that line you are on.
Water routed wrong the first time becomes somebody’s foundation problem later. That is the part worth getting right, and the part that is expensive to fix after the fact.
Drainage
If water has been standing somewhere it should not, that is a fixable problem. Usually it is a grade that was never cut right, or a culvert that is undersized or pointed the wrong way.
We regrade for drainage, reshape ground that has been eroding, and put in culverts sized for what actually comes through there.
Access
Equipment travels on a trailer, so we need a gate and a path wide enough to get it in. If you are not sure yours works, send a photo of the entrance and we will tell you before anything is scheduled.
