Land clearing and forestry mulching across Blanco County.
Blanco County is inside our regular working radius.
Blanco County is classic Hill Country ranch ground — limestone, shallow soil, and cedar that takes a pasture back in a few seasons if nobody touches it.
We run land clearing, forestry mulching, dirt work and excavation, driveway construction, shredding and dumpster rental throughout the county. When ranchers and property owners call, it is usually about real acreage, and commercial tracts call about clearing and pad work. Big or small, we have got you covered.
HB Land Services was started in 2021. The owner meets with you, walks the property and works out the best way to attack the project.
The ground here
What a job takes in Blanco County depends on where in the county you are. Terrain changes the equipment, the pace and the number, which is why quoting acreage sight-unseen is guesswork. The owner comes and walks it with you before anything is scheduled, big tract or small, and that visit costs nothing.
Bring any survey or plat you have. Slope, soil, stem size and access are the four things that actually drive what the work runs, and none of them are visible from a phone call.
Mulching or clearing
These get confused and they are not the same job. Mulching grinds standing brush and smaller trees in place, leaves the material as a chip bed, and works around any trees you want kept. Clearing takes everything off, stumps included, and leaves bare workable ground.
Mulching is faster, cheaper and better for erosion. Clearing is what you want when something is getting built. If only part of a tract needs the heavier treatment, we will split it rather than clear the whole thing.
Keeping it open
Regrowth is the real long-term cost on any cleared tract. Cedar comes back, and ground that took a week to open can be halfway gone again in a few seasons if nobody touches it.
Shredding once or twice a year keeps it from ever becoming a clearing job twice. Owners who run it on a cycle spend a fraction of what the first pass cost.
Veterans and first responders
Discount on every job, standing, no paperwork. Mention it when you call and it is handled.
